New Free Zoom Online Qigong Classes Starting Oct. 12th
I am glad we finished the form of Tai Chi 2 and the 8 pieces of Brocade successfully. I would like to thank all of you for enjoying the class and attended as much as you could. Even getting up at 6 am to join the class from Canada.
The next series of courses will be a brand new subject. I name it “Qigong for Joint Pain “Relief”. It is going to be a continuous of Qigong exercises for the different parts of body. The uniqueness of this series is combining Qigong practice and Chinese Acupressure point massage. It is to prevent the illness and pains through the whole body.
With my years of Tai Chi and Qigong practicing, plus my years of medical file experience when I was in China, I feel it is a perfect combination for people to learn different techniques for the same purpose. I couldn’t find any one else providing these kind of lessons anywhere.
We will remain with the same schedule of the date and time. Every weekday on Mon, Wed, Fri. starting at 09:00 EST.
The first lesson will be “Warm Up Exercises for the Qigong practice”.
In this form, I picked out some of Tai Chi and Qigong movements to made a form. It is to stretch and loosening up the whole body. It is a gentle, relaxed, flowing exercise routine with music like dancing Tai Chi.
The movements are simple and easy to learn but work on the energy flow through out the whole body.
In Tai Chi we call it “moving Qigong”. By practicing this exercise, it would help you to correct body posture and improve the benefit your Tai Chi exercise too.
In doing this form, for of all the movements you will stay on one spot, and don’t need a lot of space like Tai Chi does. All you need is to put on comfortable clothes and shoes. And, if you want, you can be seated to do the form.
